Razer Phone Now Official: 120Hz Display, 8GB RAM, 24-Bit DAC

The beast has been unleashed

After much discussion and hype, Razer has officially unveiled its first smartphone. Geared towards mobile gamers, the Razer Phone’s standout feature is its 5.7-inch Quad HD IGZO display that boasts of a 120hz refresh rate—the same refresh rate with most gaming monitors out there—and a UltraMotion tech to avoid screen tearing and lag at high frame rates.

In addition, it is one of the loudest phones out there, sporting two front-firing speakers and a 24-Bit DAC that is certified by THX. Powering the phone is a Snapdragon 835 processor, along with a monstrous 8GB RAM and a 4000mAh battery with Qualcomm QuickCharge 4.0+.

For its body, the Razer Phone is made from an all-aluminum CNC chassis, giving it sharp edges reminiscent of the NextBit phone—which Razer purchased early this year.

Razer Phone specs

The Razer Phone will be available in North America, Europe, and on their online store November 17 for $699 (~PHP 36k). No details if the Razer Phone will make it to our shores.
