PC gaming on the go has never been as fast (or as expensive)

Even if Razer has shown interest in expanding their products from gaming mice and keyboards, their heart will always be in PC gaming. You needn’t look farther than their recently refreshed Blade Pro gaming notebook. The refreshed model from last year  still has the 17-inch display, but has an improved NVIDIA GeForce GTX 860M (2 GB GDDR5) discrete graphics and more memory than you know what to do with, going up to 16GB(!) compared to last year’s 8GB. Being part of the Razer Blade family, it still has the company’s Switchblade display. Basically, it’s a cellphone-grade secondary screen that also doubles as a trackpad, displaying whatever information you want on it. There’s also eight fully customizable buttons on top of the Switchblade which again, is fully customizable by the user.

Razer Blade Pro specs

Granted, you’re only allotted around 128GB of storage space with the base model which doesn’t seem a lot when you consider that a typical game install is around 20GB. Still, there’s 256GB and 512G options available if you want more storage for your uber notebook. Like most of Razer’s gaming notebook offerings, the Blade Pro isn’t cheap – your checkbook will definitely be savaged by the $2299 or Php 102650 price tag that the base model retails for.
