You Can Still Get the realme GT 6 for Php 30k

When realme launched the GT 6 in the Philippines, they offered it with an early bird price of Php 29,999 and an official SRP of Php 34,999. The early bird price was supposed to be valid until July 4. It has been more than a month since then, and the GT 6 is still listed at under Php 30k (Php 30,999 if you buy it via Shopee).

Even if it faces a tougher competition a month later, we still think that the GT 6 is still a good deal. Here are the three big points that make realme’s 2024 flagship killer stand out:

The best battery and charging combo. In the push for balancing battery capacity and charging speeds, the GT 6 offers the best of both worlds: a bigger-than-usual 5500mAh battery and a fast 120w wired charging speed. The GT 6 boasts one of the best battery life on a high-end phone with a score of 17 hours and 36 minutes in PCMark, and that 120w wired charging tops up the huge battery in just under 30 minutes. That’s so fast and convenient, that you’d forgive realme for omitting wireless charging.

Brightest screen in its class. While it may look like the usual 120hz curved AMOLED display, two things make the GT 6’s display stand out: it has a 1.5k resolution that offers more detail than the usual Full HD+ resolution, and it stands out for having the brightest display on a flagship killer at 6000nits of peak brightness. That’s even brighter than what Samsung’s Galaxy S24 has to offer, ensuring that the GT 6’s display is still legible even under broad daylight.

Competitive cameras. After setting a good example with the periscope camera on the 12 Pro+, realme stays consistent with the GT 6, offering a solid main camera with its use of an LYT-808 sensor with OIS and a 2x telephoto camera with an ISOCELL JN5 sensor and OIS. Both cameras offer flagship-like performance and can shoot up to 4K60 video, making the GT 6 a true flagship killer that’s suitable not just for gaming but for content creation as well.

Real-meh for 31k. Nobody is buying it. Just like its parent company oppo’s overpriced products.
