Redmi K30 5G Speed Edition to use a Snapdragon 768G Processor

That is not a typo

Xiaomi is set to launch another Redmi K30 variant with the Redmi K30 5G Speed Edition. Slated for a May 11 unveiling, one of the teaser posters reveal that it will be using a Snapdragon 768G processor. Not, that is not a typo: Qualcomm is actually working on the said processor.

Based on reports, the Snapdragon 768G is an improved version of the Snapdragon 765G. While it uses the same Adreno 620 GPU, the Snapdragon 768G runs it at a higher 750Mhz clock speed. For reference, the Adreno 620 on the Snapdragon 765G runs at 625Mhz. CPU configuration is different too, as the Snapdragon 768G has one 2.8Ghz high-performance core, one 2.2Ghz performance core, and six 1.8Ghz power efficiency cores. With the changes, the Snapdragon 768G is said to be 10% more powerful than the Snapdragon 765G.

As for specs, a JD listing confirms that the Redmi K30 5G Speed Edition will have a 6.67-inch Full HD+ 120hz display, 64-megapixel main rear camera, 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera, 5-megapixel macro camera, 6GB RAM, and 128GB internal storage.
