Redmi joins the megapixel race
Confirming previous reports, Redmi teased that it is working on a smartphone with a 64-megapixel main rear camera.
The post did not talk about what sensor Redmi will be using, but it will most likely be Samsung’s ISOCELL Bright GW1 since it is currently the only 64-megapixel sensor announced as of the moment.
Samsung’s high-megapixel sensor has a 1/1.72-inch size and uses Tetracell tech to produce high-quality 16-megapixel images. Expected features include improved HDR capabilities, 480FPS slow-motion video recording, and updated phase detection autofocus.
