With the ROG Ally X already available in stores, the OG ROG Ally should be more affordable and accessible to everyone. The question is: what is the best sale price for the OG ROG Ally? If the Php 33k sale price wasn’t enough, we found an OG ROG Ally on sale for under Php 30k.
We checked through the sale items at Villman’s March Madness clearance sale at V Mall in Greenhills, and what caught our attention was the OG ROG Ally that’s on display. What made it attractive is that Villman is selling it for a promo price of Php 27,995, and the one they’re selling is the Z1 Extreme version that has 512GB SSD storage and 16GB RAM.
That’s a hefty Php 16k discount from its original price, making this gaming handheld a better deal compared to, say, buying a Steam Deck. What’s the catch? Aside from being a generation old and not having the same impressive battery life as the newer ROG Ally X, the one that Villman is selling does not include a charger. That should not be a big deal, since the OG ROG Ally supports 65w USB-PD charging and it’s easy to find an equivalent charger with offerings from brands like Anker and Ugreen.
Do note that 1) there’s only one unit left, and 2) Villman’s clearance sale runs until March 23, so if you saw this article you better head off to Greenhills to snag this solid deal.
