An affordable smartphone from Samsung
Samsung has gone ahead and announced their newest budget smartphone in the PH, dubbed the Galaxy J1 Mini. The new device is aimed at budget consumers because of its positioning in the J lineup, and sports specs that you’d expect from a budget device.

The phone sports an unknown 1.2GHz quad-core processor, 4-inch, WVGA display, 5-megapixel rear camera, VGA front camera and 768MB of RAM, along with 8GB of storage that’s expandable to 128GB. The new phone runs Android Lollipop and has dual-SIM capabilities, though there’s no price on the device as of yet. A similarly specc’d device sold in Bangladesh dubbed the Galaxy J1 Nxt was priced at around 4.1K, so you can expect the phone to retail along those lines.
