Meet Samsung’s newest slate

Samsung has officially announced their first Windows 10 tablet, the Galaxy TabPro S. It’s not hard to see that the new tablet is putting its sights squarely on Microsoft’s own Surface Pro tablet. The new tablet sports a body that’s only 6.3mm thin and 683 grams, and comes with a full-sized keyboard cover for those times you have to punch out an important document.

The Galaxy TabPro S uses a magnesium alloy frame. Internally the new slate comes with Intel’s 6th Generation dual-core Core M processors, along with 4GB of RAM and either 128GB of 256 of storage on board. The device runs a 12-inch Super AMOLED display with a resolution of 2,560 x 1,440. The Tab Pro S will also have LTE connectivity, as well as a 5,200mAh battery.

No pricing yet is available for the Galaxy TabPro S.
