Samsung’s First Triple Camera Smartphone Is The Galaxy A7 (2018)

Seen on a mid-range phone first

A few weeks ago Samsung’s mobile head, DJ Koh said that the company will be looking to introduce new innovations to their mid-range lineup first before the flagship line. True to their word the Korean company has unveiled their first ever triple camera module on a mid-range phone and not the high end S or Note Series.

The device of choice? The mid-range Galaxy A7. The phone sports a regular 24-megapixel camera with a secondary 5-megapixel depth sensor, while the third camera shoots ultra-wide photos at 120-degrees, though its megapixel count is just 8.

The front camera is a 24-megapixel shooter, and the phone sports a 6-inch Super AMOLED display, along with a side-mounted fingerprint sensor and Dolby Atmos surround system.

The phone will have a yet unspecified 2.2GHz octa-core processor, along with either 4GB or 6GB of RAM and 64GB/128GB storage options.

No word yet on local price or availability.
