Sony Tablet S to hit the US Market Mid-September
The Sony Tablet S officially debuts in the US Sep 16 with the same entry-level price tag as the Apple iPad 2 ($499 USD). It sports a 9.4″ 1280×800 screen, a powerful 1GHz NVIDIA Tegra 2 Processor, 1GB RAM, and a 5MP camera. It has microSD storage expandable to 32GB and it currently has no 3G model. The most interesting though about this tablet is the design. It has some sort of curved back which reminds me of folded books and magazines.
The OS is Android with tons of customizations made by Sony.
Expect this to hit the PH gray market sometime in October or November. No announcements yet if this will actually be officially released locally.
