Sony’s Xperia XA1 And XA1 Ultra Are Meant For The Mid-range

Along with the high-end Xperia XZ Premium, Sony has also launched two new phones meant for the mid-range market. The XA1 and XA1 Ultra are advertised by the Japanese firm as having a borderless edge-to-edge design, much like most of the high-end products announced during the show so far.

The XA1 has a 5-inch HD display to go with that borderless edge, octa-core 2.3GHz MediaTek Helio P20 processor, 3GB of RAM and 23-megapixel rear camera coupled with a 8-megapixel front. The XA1 Ultra has a bigger 6-inch display to got with that Ultra moniker, 4GB of RAM and the same 23-megapixel rear camera, though the selfie camera has been upgraded to 16-megapixels.

The Xperia XA1 is set to be released on April for around $300, while the XA1 Ultra will be released this summer, without a price attached to it yet.
