Chinese Brand TCL to Launch Snapdragon 820 Powered Flagship

TCL, the parent company of Alcatel Mobile, is a well-known Chinese manufacturer of television sets (TCL Philippines), air conditioners, washing machines and other electrical appliances. Aside from releasing phones under the Alcatel brand, the electronics company has been expanding their smartphone portfolio lately with TCL-branded handsets in India and China. Here’s a glimpse of their new flagship phone, the TCL 950, scheduled to be unveiled on September 28 in China.

Earlier, we published a report on Blackberry’s flagship “Argon” phone, set to be launched as the DTEK60. According to online rumors (and looking at both spec sheets), the TCL 950 does look like an FHD version of the QHD Blackberry DTEK60.
