The Black Shark 2 Gets a Major Display Upgrade

With low input latencies for a better gaming experience

Xiaomi has unveiled the successor of last year’s Black Shark gaming phone with several key upgrades. Aside from a more powerful Snapdragon 855 processor accompanied by an improved Liquid Cooling system, the Black Shark 2’s main feature is its display. Made by Samsung, the 6.39-inch AMOLED display has support for HDR and DCI-P3, and comes with enhancements such as low input latency and Magic Press—the latter being pressure sensitive controls hidden on the display.

The cameras get an upgrade, as you get a 48-megapixel main camera and a 12-megapixel telephoto camera with 2x optical zoom. The 4000mAh battery now has support for 27W quick charging, which Xiaomi claims 30 minutes of gaming with just 5 minutes of charging.
