The Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2019) is A Budget Tablet Worth Considering

Samsung is getting better at offering value-for-money devices

The Korean tech giant has been quite generous lately: prior to the much-awaited Galaxy S10 family launch, Samsung unveiled the Galaxy Tablet S5e. The surprise announcement was well-appreciated, as it offers quite a lot of good specs (starting with the Snapdragon 670 processor and AMOLED display) for a hair under $400.

If you find that pricey still, Samsung has a much more affordable offering with the recently-unveiled Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2019). This budget tablet trades the Galaxy Tab S5e’s Snapdragon 670 processor for Samsung’s Exynos 7904 processor and comes with less RAM and internal storage at 2GB and 32GB respectively.

You get a TFT display with a lower display resolution on the Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2019) and a smaller battery, but thankfully it comes with a USB-C port.

Samsung Galaxy Tab A (10.1) 2019 Specs

The Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2019) is available in WiFi-only and WiFi+LTE variants for 210 Euros (~Php 12.5k) and 270 Euros (~Php 16.1k) Euros respectively
