Two S10 Variants with Less than Four Cameras

Did Gionee go too far with the S10 by putting two front cameras on both its main and selfie shooter? If you think so, the Chinese company played it a little safe by introducing two other variants of the smartphone with less cameras as it goes down in price point. Let’s have a quick look at what they offer on paper.

Gionee S10B Specifications

Compared to the S10, the S10B has a slightly weaker SoC with the Helio P10 and less RAM (or just the right amount) at 4GB. The S10B megapixel count for the secondary rear camera has also been bumped down from 8-megapixels to 5-megapixels. You’re also getting one less front camera with the S10B, but still looks like a capable selfie shooter with 16-megapixels.

Gionee S10C specifications

If you want something a little more basic in terms of camera setups, the Gionee S10C might be the right phone for you. No fancy dual camera setups here, but you are still getting a 13-megapixel rear camera and a 16-megapixel front camera to take photos with. You’re also getting a shift of SoC brands, with the S10C going with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 427 quad-core processor that’s been paired with 4GB of RAM and 32GB of storage.

The price for the Gionee S10B sits at CNY 2199 or Php 15961, while the Gionee S10C is priced at CNY 1599 or Php 11606.
