The HONOR 30 Series Boast Periscope Cameras and OLED Displays

Redefining flagship killers yet again

HONOR strengthens its position in the flagship killer segment with the HONOR 30 and HONOR30 Pro. Both phones come with triple rear cameras (40-megapixel f/1.6 Sony IMX600 RYYB main camera, 8-megapixel f/2.4 periscope telephoto camera, 16-megapixel f/2.4 ultra-wide-angle camera), 4000mAh batteries with 40w wired charging, in-display fingerprint scanners, 6.57 OLED displays with a tall 20:9 aspect ratio, and 32-megapixel front cameras.

The HONOR 30 Pro gets a curved OLED panel, a pill-shaped cutout that includes an additional 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle selfie camera, and a flagship Kirin 990 5G processor. The HONOR 30, on the other hand, settles for a punch-hole and a flat OLED panel, along with a new Kirin 985 5G processor.

The 7nm processor has a performance Cortex-A76 core with a 2.58GHz clock speed, three Cortex-A76 cores running at 2.40GHz, and four Cortex-A55 cores running at 1.84GHz. A Mali-G77 takes care of the GPU side, accompanied by an in-house Kirin ISP 5.0 for better camera performance and noise reduction.
