One of them being a dedicated co-processor for the display
With OPPO set to unveil a new Find model after it was noticeably absent in 2019, new reports reveal that the brand’s upcoming 2020 flagship will pack interesting hardware.
While we know that it will be powered by a Snapdragon 865 processor and have a 120Hz display, the Find X2 will have a Quad HD+ resolution, 240Hz touch sampling rate, and an 80-degree curve on the display’s edges—which is not a waterfall display like the ones found on the NEX 3 and Mate 30 Pro.
To keep the phone power-efficient, OPPO is rumored to fit an M1 co-processor that is meant to manage the Find X2’s display at 120hz in Quad HD+ resolution without putting too much load on the processor.
The Find X2 is expected to debut in February or March, or at MWC 2020.
