The Pixel Slate is Google’s Own Take at Chrome OS Tablets

To go against Apple’s iPad

Among the many products Google is unveiling today, the Mountain View-based company officially unveiled their own tablet with the Pixel Slate. Sporting the same design DNA of Pixel phones, the Pixel Slate has rounded edges and comes with dual front-firing speakers.

The display is a 10-inch LTPS panel with a 293 PPI density. As for the cameras, the Pixel Slate comes with 8-megapixel front and rear cameras equipped with wide-angle lens (for the front camera) machine learning and portrait mode for the best possible image quality.

A redesigned Chrome OS runs the Pixel Slate, with a refined Google Assistant Integration. As for security, the Pixel Slate comes with built-in antivirus, automatic updates, and Google’s Titan security chip.

To make it a convertible laptop, the Pixel Slate has an optional Pixel Slate keyboard that comes with backlit round keys.

The Pixel Slate will retail for $599(~Php 32.5k). The keyboard is sold separately at $199(~Php 10.8k), while the pen costs $99(~Php 5.4k).
