The ProTruly Darling: Gold-Engraved, Diamond-Studded, with a 360-Degree Camera

Yesterday, Unbox featured a Russian luxury handset made for Vladimir Putin fans, the Nokia 3310 “Supremo Putin” Edition. That phone was clad in a titanium frame with a lot of gold engravings on it, one with the image of the Russian federation’s famous president.

Today, we’re featuring yet another luxury gadget, this time from China, in the form of the ProTruly Darling smartphone. Unveiled at the recently-concluded MWC 2017, this luxury handset features gold and diamond engravings and a huge, protruding front-back camera setup that can take 360-degree shots. Specs-wise, the phone packs sub-flagship hardware.

ProTruly Darling D7/D8

Touted as the “world’s first VR-taking phone”, the ProTruly Darling will be shipping in two different variants: the regular model, and the luxury model. Pricing is currently up in the air at the moment, with reports of the cheaper version going for $500 to $600 (~Php 26K to Php 31K), and the diamond-engraved variant pricing at $800 to $1,300 (~Php 41K to Php 66K).
