The Redmi Note 7 is the Most Premium Redmi Phone to Date

The most affordable phone with a 48-megapixel rear camera?

After appearing in several teasers, Redmi finally unveiled its first phone as an independent brand with the Redmi Note 7. Headlining its string of features is its 48-megapixel Samsung ISOCELL GM1 rear camera, which has a low-light tech that stacks its 0.8-micron pixels into large 1.6-micron pixels for a well-detailed 12-megapixel photo. Assisting it is a 5-megapixel depth sensor.

Its list of features are also impressive: you get a Snapdragon 660 processor, a 6.3-inch Full HD+ display with a waterdrop notch, up to 6GB RAM, a 4000mAh battery, and USB-C—one of the few Redmi phones to sport the said port.

Even more exciting is the Redmi Note 7’s price, where it starts at CNY 999(~Php 7.7k) for the 3GB/32GB variant, and at CNY 1399(~Php 10.8k) for the 6GB/64GB variant. This makes the Redmi Note 7 the most affordable phone with a 48-megapixel rear camera, Snapdragon 660, and USB-C.

The Redmi Note 7 will be available in China initially, and will be sold globally in the coming weeks.
