The Sony Xperia XA1 is Now Available in the Philippines

From the MWC Floor  to Local Store Shelves

Sony gave us a sneak peek at their new mobile phones at Mobile World Congress this year and they’ve slowly been making their way onto local store shelves. The latest one to hit the floor in Sony Centres, Sony Mobile Stores, and Authorized Dealers is the mid-ranged Sony Xperia XA1, the successor to last year’s XA; we know the naming convention can make it slightly confusing later on. While retaining its narrow dimension, by nearly getting rid of the side bezels, the XA1 has seen a much needed bump up in its internals from its previous iteration. Let’s have a look at its spec sheet.

Sony Xperia XA1 Specifications

While the bump up in its spec sheet is a welcome change, the biggest difference here is in its rear camera. Its main shooter now has a megapixel count of 23-megapixels and, as mentioned in our quick review for the device, is most likely the same setup as the Sony Xperia XZ. We’re still in the process of taking the XA1 out for its full review, so check back in a couple of days to check that out. The Sony Xperia XA1 is priced at Php 14,990.
