With brands like Huawei, Xiaomi, and Samsung showcasing their 5G-ready devices, LG hops in the train with the V50 ThinQ. LG’s first 5G device is basically a V40 ThinQ with two key upgrades: a bigger 4000mAh battery and a Snapdragon 855 processor paired with Qualcomm’s 5G-capable X50 modem.
Save for those, you get the same features with the V40 ThinQ: dual front cameras, triple rear cameras, wireless charging, and QuadDAC, among other things.
5G aside, what makes the V50 ThinQ interesting is its Dual Screen accessory. With this case, you get a secondary 6.2-inch Full HD+ OLED display that can be used for multitasking purposes or as a dedicated controller for games.
