The Xperia Compact Line is Back as the Xperia 5

It inherits almost all of the Xperia 1’s goodies

Sony changed its product cycle this time around: instead of unveiling a mid-year refresh of the Xperia 1, the Japanese brand introduced a smaller version with the Xperia 5.

Aside from the relocated triple rear camera module, the Xperia 5 sports a smaller 6.1-inch OLED display with a Full HD+ resolution and the same, tall 21:9 aspect ratio of its bigger brother. Since it is a smaller phone, you also get a smaller 3140mAh battery, though you still get USB-PD support.

Save for those changes, everything else remains the same: Snapdragon 855, 6GB RAM, 128GB internal storage, and three 12-megapixel cameras (regular, ultra-wide, telephoto).
