This Speaker Literally Moves With the Music

Awesome speaker concept!

While the design of the speaker you see above isn’t what you’d call traditional, it’s designed that way for a good reason. You see, every time it produces sound, the cool speaker ball moves with the sound waves it produces, which allows you to visualize sound waves.

This awesome speaker, called the Vitruvio by its designers  Giorgio Bonaguro and Juan Soriano Blanco, was inspired by Leonardo da Vinci’s Vitruvian Man, that iconic painting of a man that’s literally spread out for everyone to see. The concept for the Vitruvio speaker is the same, with the supports of the cube attached to either a metal or wooden frame much like the arms of da Vinci’s Vitruvian Man.

Unfortunately, this speaker is still a concept, though we really hope that someone picks this up and actually makes it, if only to see how the speaker reacts when we start playing Ylvis’ The Fox.
