Torque announces Droidz Quad and Motion Smartphones
Torque has two new quad-core offerings — the Torque Droidz Quad and the Torque Droidz Motion. Both devices are powered by a quad-core processor, HSPA+ connectivity, and runs Android Jelly Bean 4.2. Both devices also sport just 512MB RAM HOWEVER Torque is claiming that it performs as if it were 1GB because of their RAM saving chip that’s incorporated in their processors. Of course we will have to put this claim to the test if ever we get our hands on a unit.
The Torque Droidz Quad retails for Php5,999 and has a 4.5-inch FWVGA display. The Torque Droidz Motion sells for Php7,999 and has a bigger 5.0-inch qHD display. Both run the MT6589 quad-core processor chips. Here are the spec sheets of both devices for your reference:
