Uniquely Shaped Linshof i8 Has Octa-core Processor and 80GB of Storage, Will Retail Around 17K

Linshof-i8

Check out this cool little flagship from Germany

Yes, that’s not a typo. The Linshof i8 really does have 80GB of storage, and that’s not the only thing that’s different about the Linshof i8, a brand that comes to us from land of Bratwurst – Germany. The Linshof i8 has a uniquely shaped body and an octa-core processor, as well as that odd 80GB storage capacity.

Linshof i8 specs

Not only is the Linshof i8 running a unique body, it’s also sporting some pretty unique hardware as well. The company explained to Phonearena that they’ve managed to achieve that odd 80GB storage combo by combining a 64GB chip and a 16GB module, both supplied by Sandisk and are “dedicated to apps, and clocked much faster than usual”. The company did not expound on what processor the 2.1GHz solution is (the only information that’s available right now is that it’s a 32-bit one).

As for the display, there will be two variants available – a Super AMOLED one that’s been carefully color calibrated to IPS standards, and an actual IPS one.

Price-wise you’re looking at around $380 or around 17K for this (without taxes and duties) which makes it a winner in our book. Let’s hope someone brings it here when it does launch.
