Finally, high-end specs for the price

Vertu’s high-end smartphones have always been ridiculously expensive, but they’ve never held a candle to the specs of current flagships. The company is set to fix that with their new Signature Touch offering, sporting high-end specs that’s almost equal to the flagships of other brands.

For starters, the new phone has Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 810 processor paired with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage. The rest of the specs reeks high-end as well – 21-megapixel rear camera, 3160mAh battery, Quick Charge 2.0 and Qi Wireless charging.

Unfortunately, there’s still some weird, (comparably) low-end features in the Signature Touch – 5.2-inch full HD display (why not QHD?) and a 2.1-megapixel front facing camera.

The filthy rich will be happy to know that Vertu’s latest offering still has all the craftsmanship that the company is known for, and sports a titanium body, along with a fine leather exterior. Vertu’s concierge service – the one that can help facilitate travel, accommodation, fine dining experiences and even access to hard-to-book events – is still here, and people will argue that that’s the service you really pay for with Vertu.

No price has been set, but knowing the previous price of Vertu’s phones, it can easily go up to $10,000 (around 460K).
