vivo Debuts S12 Series in China with High-Megapixel Selfie Cameras

vivo updates its selfie-focused S-series phones in China with the S12 series. While the vanilla model is practically similar to the S10 Pro save for a bigger battery, the Pro model gets a better set of upgrades. Both phones come with a 90hz refresh rate, 44w wired charging, a triple rear camera setup (108-megapixel main camera, 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera, 2-megapixel depth sensor), 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera, up to 12GB RAM, and 256GB internal storage.

New to both phones is a dual-LED flash system for the selfie cameras that has a manually-adjustable color temperature of between 3000K and 6000K.

If you are looking for better upgrades, the S12 Pro offers a bigger 6.56-inch AMOLED display and a better 240hz touch response rate. It also has a better 50-megapixel selfie camera to boot, along with a slightly larger 4300mAh battery.

The vivo S12 Pro is priced at CNY 3400(~Php 26.8k) for the 8GB/256GB model and CNY 3700(~Php 29.2k) for the 12GB/256GB model, while the vanilla S12 is priced at CNY 2800(~Php 22.1k) for the 8GB/256GB model and CNY 3000(~Php 23.7k) for the 12GB/256GB model. The S-series is usually exclusive to China, but it vivo might make it available globally as the V23 Pro.
