Really useful or just a faddish marketing gimmick?
Meizu recently unveiled their Pro 7 and Pro 7 Plus flagships in China. The Pro 7 series’ most unique feature is having a secondary display at the back, to be used for notifications, as a music player, and as an interface to capture selfies using the dual rear cameras.
To showcase how the back panel works, Ard Boudeling, Meizu’s head of global marketing, posted a quick video snippet of the feature on Twitter.

The video reveals that the secondary back display works with finger swipes. A message and call notification can be seen popping on the display, with Boudeling swiping them off-screen in sequence, then swiping down to access the rear cameras for a selfie shot.
