We Wish We Had It: LeTV’s Le Max Has 4GB of RAM, Snapdragon 810 and Quad HD Display

LeTV-Le-Max

Meet the monster superphone from China

ASUS’s Zenfone is one of the few phones currently out in the market today that has a whopping 4GB of RAM, but it’s not alone. The most recent member of the 4GB RAM club is not made by Samsung, LG, Sony or even Huawei – it’s from relatively unknown Chinese manufacturer LeTV, in the form of the Le Max.

Le Max specs

The Le Max sports a design that bears more than a passing resemblance to Huawei’s own Mate7 phablet. Made from aluminum, the Le Max sports a large 6.33-inch quad HD display, and is powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 810 processor, along with 4GB of RAM. Other specs include a 21-megapixel rear camera with dual-tone LED flsah, Sony IMX230 sensor, OIS plus a f/2.0 aperture.

The Le Max is also one of the few phones out there that uses the new reversible USB Type C connector (the other phones are its siblings also made by Le Max)that was recently used by Apple in their newest MacBook.

No pricing has been set for the Le Max, and the company is trying to crowd-source the price from its fans to get a good baseline of how much it should retail for.
