Xiaomi makes the Redmi Note 9 Series Official Globally

Now global

The Redmi Note 9 series is now official outside of India with the Redmi Note 9 and Redmi Note 9 Pro. The Redmi Note 9 is the first phone powered by an Helio G85 processora 12nm processor that delivers better performance than the Snapdragon 665 used on the Redmi Note 8. The Redmi Note 9 comes with a 6.53-inch Full HD+ display with a punch-hole located on the left corner. The Redmi Note 9 has a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner and a quad rear camera setup: 48-megapixel f/1.8 ISOCELL GM1 main camera, 8-megapixel f/2.2 ultra-wide-angle camera, 2-megapixel depth-sensor, and 2-megapixel f/2.4 macro camera.

On the other hand, the Redmi Note 9 Pro is essentially a global version of the Redmi Note 9 Pro Max that launched in India a few months ago. The only difference between the two is the back panel for the Tropical Green version: this version of the global Redmi Note 9 Pro has a square camera module and a dual-tone finish. In addition, the global Redmi Note 9 Pro settles for a 16-megapixel selfie snapper. Internals remain the same: Snapdragon 720G, 64-megapixel main rear camera, 5020mAh battery with 33w wired charging, and a 6.67-inch display with a centrally-placed punch-hole.
