Xiaomi Launches its First Premium OLED TV in China

If the launch of the Mi 10 series is not enough, Xiaomi is ready to take on the premium segment as it launched its first OLED TV in China. Called the Mi TV Master, Xiaomi’s premium TV has a 10-bit, 65-inch 4K OLED panel with a 120hz refresh rate, MEMC, and all the flagship features you’d expect: 98.5% DCI-P3 color gamut, 1000000:1 contrast ratio, peak brightness of 1000 nits, HDR10+, Dolby Vision, 1ms response time, and a crazy 98.8% screen to body ratio.

Powering the Mi TV Master is a MediaTek MTK9650 processor with a Mali-G52 MC1 GPU that is paired 3GB RAM and 32GB ROM. MIUI for TV takes care of the software part. For audio, you get a 65w system that comprises of 2 × 12.5W left/right channels, 2 × 10W surround channels, and 20W 50Hz ultra-low frequency subwoofer. It supports DTS Audio, Dolby Audio, and Dolby Atmos 2.1.2, and comes with a 4-mic array for Xiaomi’s XiaoAI assistant.

For all the features it offers, Xiaomi is selling the Mi TV Master for CNY 12,999(~Php 91.4k), which is still a relatively good price for a TV that can go against those being offered by Samsung, LG, and Sony.
