The new budget kings have arrived
Just as they promised, Xiaomi has officially announced the arrival of their two new budget kings, the Redmi 6 and Redmi 6A, in the Philippines.
The two new phones bring 18:9 displays, dual-cameras and more importantly, affordable price tags.

The Redmi 6A comes equipped with MediaTek’s Helio A22 chipset, along with 2GB of RAM, 16GB of expandable storage and a 13-megapixel rear camera.
The Redmi 6 meanwhile, comes with MediaTek’s more powerful P22 chipset, either 3GB or 4GB of RAM, and a choice of either 32GB or 64GB of storage, plus a 12-megapixel/5-megapixel dual camera combo.
Xiaomi has priced the Redmi 6A at Php 5,290 for the 16GB version, while the 32GB variant is priced at Php 5,990. The Redmi 6 meanwhile is priced at Php 7,490 for the 3GB/32GB variant, while the 4GB/64GB variant is at Php 8,990.
