Xiaomi’s popular Redmi Note series has a new member in the form of the Redmi Note 4X. The upcoming handset was spotted at China’s regulatory agency for smartphones and devices, TENAA. Let’s check out the phone’s preliminary specifications and see if it’s a worthy entry to the Redmi Note legacy.

There are rumors that the Redmi Note 4X might have a secondary version with Qualcomm’s new Snapdragon 653 under the hood.
The Redmi Note 4X looks similar to its predecessor, the Redmi Note 4, sharing the same metallic unibody chassis. The phone will be available in different RAM and storage configurations and will sport three different colors – silver, gray and gold.
No word yet from Xiaomi on when the handset will publicly debut and at what price point.
