Yes, You Can Use the V40 ThinQ’s Three Rear Cameras All at Once

A new way of creating videos for content creators

LG has officially launched the V40 ThinQ, with its triple rear camera being its standout feature. The module consists of a 12-megapixel f/1.5 main camera with 1.4um pixels, a 12-megapixel f/2.4 telephoto camera, and a 16-megapixel f/1.9 wide-angle camera.

While all three have specific functions, you can use all three at once with LG’s Triple Shot feature: what it does is it makes a video or GIF from the photos shot by all three cameras. LG’s AI engine will guide you in nailing it right.

Other photo and video features of the V40 ThinQ include EIS for all three cameras, 4K60 video recording, Full HD slo-mo at 240FPS, and HDR video recording.

Up front, you get a 6.4-inch Quad HD+ display with support for HDR10, along with two front cameras. Powering the V40 ThinQ is a Snapdragon 845 processor paired with 6GB RAM, 64GB internal storage. You get a bigger 3300mAh battery with support for Quick Charge 3.0 and wireless quick charging.

Other unique features include a dedicated DAC, IP68 rating, and a single BoomBox speaker.
