While Converge is proclaimed the best fixed broadband network in the Philippines for the first half of 2024, DITO is the top-rated mobile network in the country for the same period as well according to Ookla. This also meant that DITO maintained its reputation, as it was previously hailed as the top-rated mobile network in the Philippines for the second half of 2023.

In Ookla’s latest report, DITO received a rating of 3.7, leading over Smart and Globe’s rating of 3.4 and 3.3. Compared to its scores during the second half of 2023, DITO was able to improve its rating unlike Smart and Globe.
How does Ookla measure the rating for networks? It explained that it is based on millions of consumer-initiated tests that’s performed on both the web and app version of Speedtest. “Statistical hypothesis testing provides a formal framework to rigorously and consistently decide whether the highest rated operator can be identified from our sampled data,” Ookla explains in their methodology.
Aside from this recognition from Ookla, Opensignal reported that DITO has the best connectivity in top tourist spots in the Philippines that include Bacolod City, Baguio City, Cebu City, Davao City, Iloilo City, Lapu-Lapu City, Makati City, Manila, Naga City, Parañaque, Pasay City, Rodriguez (Rizal) and Zamboanga City
DITO also recently updated its Level-Up packs, adding more data allocation while keeping the Prime Video bundle at the same time
