Epson Fusion 15 Celebrates its Push Towards Sustainability

As one of the brands that put sustainability as its key priority, Epson emphasized the importance of forming an eco-connection through Fusion 15, which was held at Shangri-La Mactan in Cebu on May 15-17.

Part of Epson’s commitment to building a sustainable future involves creating eco-efficient products, adopting sustainable practices in our operations, and forming impactful partnerships and initiatives that benefit both people and the planet. Epson also works with its partners to promote sustainability as well starting with its day-to-day operations, where Epson makes use of solar power for all its global sites–including its Batangas manufacturing plant–for a push to 100% renewable energy.

Also part of Epson’s goals is to be carbon-negative and underground resource-free by 2050. To achieve this, Epson is investing heavily in decarbonization, resource recycling, and environmental technology development, while reducing greenhouse gas emissions in their supply chain.

Some of its new sustainability initiatives Epson revealed at Fusion 15 include a new project with WWF-Philippines in boosting the capabilities of the A.T.E. Atelier Sewing-Recycling Art Studio in Siargao Island by providing machinery, building infrastructure, and empowering the community. Aside from that, Epson hinted at an upcoming business inkjet printer that is said to be a game changer.

“At Epson, we’re not just building products, we’re building a greener tomorrow. As we celebrate 15 years of Fusion, we invite everyone to join us in this mission,” Epson Philippines President and Director Masako Kusama said.  “Together, let’s save energy, make responsible choices, and create a thriving future for both people and the planet.”
