A company under Xiaomi dubbed Mibro is launching a brand-new, affordable smartwatch come end of the month. Dubbed the Mibro Air, the new watch is geared at active users who want a tough, fully-featured smartwatch but don’t want to pay through the nose for one.
You’re getting a smartwatch that has a lightweight metal body with plenty of scratch resistance. Measuring at just 9.2mm thick with a 42mm watch face, it’s slightly smaller than your typical smartwatch, but it still manages to pack a 1.28 inch TFT touch screen.
Interestingly the company is promising that the Mibro Air will be able to last up to 25 days on stand-by, and up to 10 days of continuous use. That’s a lofty claim, and if true it’ll make the Mibro Air one of the few smartwatches in the market that can go head-to-head with Huawei’s smartwatch offerings that usually have battery lives that are measured in weeks, not days.
