MMDA Urges the Public to Use Mabuhay Lanes as an Alternate Route

The reopening of businesses, collection of toll fees on Skyway 3, and implementation of less strict COVID-19 community quarantine protocols all led to a traffic surge in EDSA recently. To address the problem, The Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) is urging motorists to use the Mabuhay Lanes as an alternate route to help ease the EDSA congestion.

Since the Mabuhay Lanes are infamous for being tight and crowded, the MMDA is regularly conducting clearing operations on the said lanes to promote better traffic flow. They are also adding the necessary road signs to make the Mabuhay Lanes easily accessible and traversable to the public.
