The OnePlus Nord 4 is Meant to Last Long

The OnePlus Nord 4 is Meant to Last Long

With OnePlus set to unveil the Nord 4 on July 16 in Milan, there are a few things that make the phone intriguing. For the first time in a while, the Nord 4 has an aluminum unibody, with only the upper part of the back panel being made of glass. It’s a design that reminds us of the original Google Pixel back in 2016. The intrigue of the Nord 4 does not stop there: OnePlus confirmed that it will have one of the best software update commitments on a mid-range device.

In another first for OnePlus, the Nord 4 will be getting 4 major software updates (up to Android 18), along with 6 years of security updates. That’s slightly better than the already great software update commitment Samsung has for the Galaxy A55 and the majority of the Galaxy A series. Pair that with a build that’s mostly aluminum, and the Nord 4 should be a phone that will last long–maybe longer than the CMF Phone 1‘s modular plastic build.

OnePlus is tight-lipped about the specs, but it is speculated to have a Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 processor, a 6.74-inch 1.5K 120hz OLED display, a 5500mAh battery with 100w charging, and a dual rear camera setup that’s led by a 50-megapixel main camera.
