Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra is the New Note in the Philippines

With more than a year since the Galaxy Note line has gone MIA, Samsung has made it official that the S-Pen-sporting phone will be merged under the Galaxy S series with the Galaxy S22 Ultra in the Philippines. Unlike the Galaxy S22 and S22+ that retain practically the same design language as their predecessors, the Galaxy S22 Ultra features a new camera module layout and a design language that’s closer to Samsung’s Galaxy Note phones.

Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra Philippines Specs

Despite a different design language that includes an integrated slot for the S-Pen, the Galaxy S22 Ultra has the same 6.8-inch Quad HD+ curved Dynamic AMOLED display as its predecessor. The same goes for the punch-hole that has a 40-megapixel selfie snapper.

While the quad-rear camera setup is now integrated unlike its predecessor, the Galaxy S22 Ultra has the same setup: 108-megapixel main camera with Dual Pixel AF and OIS, 12-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera, 10-megapixel telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom, and 10-megapixel periscope camera with 10x optical zoom. The battery is still the same at 5000mAh, but you get a faster 45w charging solution this time around.

Like the Galaxy S22 and S22+, the S22 Ultra coming to the Philippines comes with a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor that’s paired with up to 512GB internal storage and up to 12GB RAM.
