Sony recently announced a new campaign called “The Search for the Next Global Exemplar“. They’re looking for the best and brightest Sony superfans who have the qualities of the Xperia brand. The winner of this search will go home with a Sony Home Entertainment Package worth Php76,000 which includes a 50-inch BRAVIA TV and a Soundbar. Booyah!
To join fans will just have to go to the sign-up page, upload a photo, explain which Xperia quality they exemplify and why. There are a total of seven Xperia qualities that superfans can pick from:
- 2-day battery life
- Waterproofing
- PS4 Remote Play Capabilities
- High-quality camera even in low-light conditions
- Digital Noise Cancelling
- Connectivity with accessories: SmartWear
- High-resolution audio
Entries will only be accepted until June 14. After that there will be a judging process where Sony will pick and announce they new face of Xperia which will be featured on their promotional materials for digital and PR.

Judging is a two-stage process.
- For the preliminary stage, entries will be judged based on the literary and creative merit of their answer. Judges will determine the top number of entries from each participating country based on the said criteria.
- For the second round, the selected entries in the first stage will be judged based on their photos and social media stats combined. Furthermore, each of these entries will be judged based on how influential they are on social media, and how their entries align with the Sony brand.
- In the event of an invalid or ineligible entry, the judges will select the next qualified winner.
