The Google Pixel 7 Release Is Here: Spec Sheet and Price Reveal

The much-awaited Google Pixel 7 and 7 Pro have seen an online release just tonight. These are two powerful devices coming from Google, the father of Android.

These two will be powered by the same Tensor G2 chipset that was unveiled and leaked in benchmarks earlier today. The second-gen in-house processor performed decently, rivaling the Snapdragon 888 from years past. The in-house chipset gives the Pixel 7 series unique photo editing features like Magic Eraser, Photo Unblur, Guided Frame, Cinematic Blur, and Real Tone.

At the front, the Pixel 7 will have 6.32-inch OLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate for smooth scrolling. The Pro will have a larger 6.7-inch display with 1500 nits of brightness and a higher 120Hz refresh rate.

As mentioned earlier, processors are the same with the Tensor G2 but the Google Pixel 7 will release with 8GB of RAM while the Pro comes with 12GB. Both have either 128 or 256GB of storage. The battery is smaller on the vanilla model as well with just 4355 mAh while residing in the larger model is a 5,000 mAh unit.

Taking photos is a 50-megapixel main sensor,12-megapixel ultrawide, and OIS for both, while the Pro gets an additional 48-megapixel telephoto lens with 30x Super Resolution Zoom and 4.8x Optical Zoom.

Both ship with Android 13 and an IP68 rating good for the great outdoors. As for the former, Google commits to five years of updates for both Pixel 7 phones. You also get a built-in VPN on both phones–at no extra cost.

The Pixel 7 starts at $599(~Php 35.4k) for the 128GB variant, while the Pixel 7 Pro starts at $899(~Php 53k) for the same variant. Pixel phones are not officially available in the Philippines, and the closest place you can buy them is in Singapore.
