We here at Unbox are bonafide geeks. A lot of us are into geeky hobbies like gaming, movies, and comics. As such, it’s always a pleasure for us to hear (and tell, of course) news about local businesses catering to the culture. This particular news item takes the cake, though!
Victoria Court, one of the country’s biggest motel chains, will be appearing as an exhibitor at the upcoming AsiaPOP Comicon Manila on August 26 to 28. AsiaPOP’s Facebook page confirmed the news in a spotlight ad: “Known for pushing the boundaries with tech and innovation in each of their themed rooms, it’s no surprise that Victoria Court is the Philippines’ leading motel chain.
Visit their booth and you just might stand a chance to win a 25% discount coupon on a regular stay, valid at ALL Victoria Court property!”
Victoria Court’s impressively designed themed rooms have always been at the forefront of the motel chain’s success. From exotic, country-inspired rooms such as the “Kyoto” and the “Taj Mahal”, to comic book themed suites such as the “Iron Man” and the “Batcave”, it seems that Victoria Court really has “something for everyone” – geeks included.
No doubt, cosplayer groups can take advantage of Victoria Court’s themed rooms for elaborate photo shoots. Hobbyists wanting to organize large get-togethers can avail of the motel’s lavishly decorated themed party rooms for added ambiance.
Too bad Victoria Court doesn’t have Game of Thrones themed audio-visual rooms yet. Or maybe movie theater themed rooms. Those would be the perfect venues to hold marathon sessions of TV series or movie binging. Victoria Court, hear us out!
