Lords of the Fallen Arrives on iOS and Android

Published by CI Games and Ubisoft, Lords of the Fallen was one of the first games I ever purchased on the Playstation 4. If you’re not familiar with the title, it’s a game that is very heavily influenced by Dark Souls; a tough action RPG that rewards precision and stamina management over button mashing. While Lords of the Fallen failed to capture a larger market, like Dark Souls or Bloodborne did, I personally thought it was still a decent game for fans of the genre; making me give this bit of news a nod of approval.

Lords of the Fallen has just been released for Android and iOS.

Priced at Php 495, Lords of the Fallen isn’t a port of the game that’s available on the Playstation 4 and PC but it still puts a focus on combat; though this time it borrows mechanics and gameplay from another successful game on the mobile platform — Infinity Blade.

Just like in Infinity Blade, exploration will most likely be kept to a minimum and will be narrowed down to choices between different paths. From what we can tell in the trailer, combat will be the same as well; with taps on the arrow keys on the side of the screen to dodge attacks, and swipes to launch a salvo of sword swings at your foes. The player classes from the original game will be kept, however, and you can choose between: The Warrior, Cleric, and Rogue to vary up the gameplay and offer a bit of replay value.

As you can see by the trailer, the graphics for the game look really nice; meaning it’ll probably need a device with a little more juice to keep it running smoothly, or we’re hoping that you can at least turn down the detail to make it run on a mid-ranged smartphone.
