Modest upgrades from their predecessors
As expected, Sony has officially unveiled its new Xperia phones in CES 2018. These include an update to its mid-range line with the Xperia XA2 and XA2 Ultra. Aside from the repositioned fingerprint scanner and trimmed down bezels, one of the major upgrades to the XA2 and XA2 Ultra is the use of a Snapdragon 630 processor over the MediaTek P20 processor used in the XA1 and XA1 Ultra.
In addition, both models get a huge battery upgrade, with the XA2 sporting a 3300mAh battery and the XA2 Ultra using a 3580mAh battery. The XA2 gets a screen size bump (from 5-inch to 5.2-inches). while the XA2 Ultra now comes with dual front cameras.
