Angkas to the rescue
While LRT-2 commuters are set to face 9 months of agony as the LRTA will be repairing the damaged rectifier substation along Katipunan Avenue, various transport groups—Angkas included—are offering free rides for affected passengers.

Aside from Angkas, MMDA is also offering free bus rides from Santolan to Cubao, while LTFRB has granted special permits to 89 buses to accommodate LRT2 passengers.
As of this writing, the LRT2 is conducting partial operations from Recto to Cubao.
