While ASUS has just launched the ZenFone Max Plus M1 and is gearing to launch the ZenFone 5 series at MWC 2018, a new variant of the ZenFone 4 Max was recently spotted.
This new variant, called the ZenFone 4 Max Lite, looks like your regular ZenFone 4 Max, except it has a smaller screen and downgraded specs. Check out the spec sheet:

According to the listing, the ZenFone 4 Max Lite retails for Php 7,995, having the same price with the ZenFone 4 Selfie Lite. In fact, it has the same processor, RAM, and internal storage with the ZenFone 4 Selfie Lite. The listing claims it has an official ASUS Philippines warranty, which points us to this new variant launching very soon.
