Can go as deep as 82 feet
Canon’s previous waterproof PowerShots were a boon to casual divers and snorklers, but didn’t catch on to more serious divers because of their relatively shallow maximum depth. Canon’s newest entry to the tough, waterproof D line, the PowerShot D30, solves that limitation as it’s capable of going on all but the deepest of dives, being rated for depths up to 82 feet, or 25 meters. Its predecessor, the PowerShot D20, could only go as deep as 32 feet.
