Remember the Cherry Mobile Omega that we wrote about a few weeks back? The device was teased on the Facebook Page of Cherry Mobile but it hasn’t been formally announced yet, much less promoted aggressively. Surprisingly though the Omega is now on the online shopping site, Lazada. The posting lists down initial specifications and SRP as well. Check it out below.

We don’t know though if this is actually official or just a lapse by Lazada. There’s no official announcement yet from Cherry Mobile about this device as of this writing so we just find this a bit weird.
Anyway, we’ll try to contact representatives of Lazada/Cherry Mobile for confirmation.
UPDATE:
We just received confirmation from Lazada Philippines about the Cherry Mobile Omega. According to their PR/Social Media Team, Lazada has already ordered units for the OMEGA, FLAME, and BLAZE. However they still need to align the release with Cherry Mobile Philippines. Looks like we’ll be seeing the Jelly Bean touting Omega this January! Keeping our fingers crossed for this one.
